Evolution of the workspace

The box at the back is super-cool Sparc 5 server with a whooping 24MB of memory. The box at the front is SunRay -- thin client connected to a Sun E450 server (can be seen though the door). SunRay's display is a pretty good one, but since E450 can't run KDE, all applications were run from yet another server, which was slow.

Almost the same, but Sparc 5 has finally disappared.

And finally, just boring conventional PC. Since my colleague Kostya is climbing mountains at the moment, I have two 19'' monitors at my disposal, though the only use of the second one I can imagine is watching videos.

Heh, Vladimir, I see it's not uncommon for you to keep legs on your desk next to the screen. It's also one of my favorite position after 7-8 hours of coding :-)
